New Report
Now I am hearing from ESPN Rumor Central's Len Pasquarelli that the Vikings are more likely to trade down in Round 1. With who might they trade. I could see some sort of deal involving Micheal Bennett with the Cardinals. To maybe move down a spot, and get an additional third. So this way Arizona could take a corner at 8. Washingston could want to leap frog Arizona to get Carlos Rogers at 7. They don't have much to offer in the way of picks, but a possible 2nd in say 2006, could be of intrest. Detroit could also get into the corner market and leap into 7, with the Vikings going down to 10 for say a third-round pick. Though this scenario is less likely. The Cowboys from what I know want to add picks. San Diego might like to trade up to secure a linebacker or a wideout. They wouldn't get pick 28 for it. But maybe a swap of 7, and 49 for 12, and 28, if San Diego had a player of intrest there. Houston if they wanted a receiver, or to guarntee themselves and o-lineman. But this I don't see as likely. Carolina is a name I have heard maybe for say a 1,2, and 5. These extra picks would possibly allow an investment in Mike Nugent in round 2, or 3. They could also pick-up a verstaile c-g Prospect if Matt Birk's hernia troubles continue. This is a more appealing possibility than trading up. But I think every team it seems for 1-7 wouldn't mind trading down. So a trade down probably will not happen.
