I think the most accurate analysis of the Vikings first round
I found so far has been by Scott Wright of NFL Draft Countdown with this comment
"I guess the theme of the Vikings draft has to be "Gamble on Greatness" and if their top two picks live up to their potential they could be great, however each has a major downside as well. James has some major durability concerns having missed the entire 2003 season with a hip injury and then battled through an ankle ailment as a senior after getting off to a tremendous start. Had he been healthy this past season James likely would have gone in the top three or four overall though...Williamson is raw though and the Vikings brass had better pray he develops into a star because he will forever be known as the guy they traded Randy Moss for."
