2002- Furman, UCONN-Lost by less than a touchdown to Ole Miss and Flordia

2003- Tenn-Chattangoga, Kentucky- Lost than less by a touchdown to Ole Miss and Georgia Tech

2004-Mississippi State, Eastern Kentucky-Lost by less than a touchdown to Navy and Tennessee

2005-Wake Forest, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Richmond, a under .500 Tennessee. Cutler lost his second career game to Middle Tennessee State in 2005. Lost to Flordia in overtime.

Does this mean Jay Cutler will be a terrible Pro QB? By no means. Since he wasn't surronded by much. It does make me wonder how much he elevated the play of those around him. For no successful starting QB in the NFL had such a background of losing in college. There were QB's who didn't face top-notch competion but were yet successful against that competion. Cutler did take a pounding and keep going. He did have some good games. But these are intresting things to consider.
