Today state that the reason that Mike Williams wasn't going to work out at the combine, was due to the fact that Tampa Bay promised to take him at 5. It also cited a Viking team source as saying that the Vikings were "Completely floored" by Mike Williams, since his workout last year, and that "They" would fall over themselves to get him. How his 40 times yesterday affected this I don't know, but I do know that he didn't run any faster last year at his workouts in Tampa.

ESPN insider Rumor Central is reporting that the Vikings are intrested not only in Lavernus Coles, along with the Jets, Ravens, and Bucs, but in his fellow Washinston WR Rod Gardner, who they speculate will be traded for a mid-round draft choice.
